Glass Accent Stoneware Bowl 10"Handcrafted by Kerry Brooks Minnesota Potter Kerry Brooks began throwing pots in 1988 and has been a full time studio potter since 1997 when she opened a studio in Minneapolis with a few other potter friends. All of my pottery is high fired stoneware which had been hand crafted on a potter's wheel and fired in a natural gas kiln to about 2400 degrees. This stoneware bowl is high fired with glass accents that create a unique design element. Crackle

My son destroys shoes, same thing happened here.

For some reason my son started doing the duck walk at school and while performing this little trick for his classmates he ripped the rubber that wraps over top the toe. Now, instead of being glued up and into place, its basically sagging down. Thankfully that's the only thing that's gone wrong with these and honestly this sort of wear and tear is not typical. What I would say is that if your child is rough on shoes, I would pass on these. They are very nice, very light weight and are great for school. However, due to the design, they might not best good for some kids.
In terms of sizing and comfort, my son wears a 5 and these fit him very well. He has wide feet like his dad, and these don't bother him at all. He's says they're very comfortable and does enjoy wearing them.
